League of Legends: Realms of Runeterra is not quite a concept art book, but it has concept art for the lore behind the game, League of Legends. It goes into each realm and talks about its way of life, the people and creatures that live there, and pieces of history that make it unique. It is such a beautiful book that I would recommend for fans of fantasy, fantasy concept art, video games, storytelling (even though it’s a companion, not a novel), and TTRPGs.
The worldbuilding is astounding and will stay with me for a long time. There is just so much talent, both raw and refined, poured into this project that it is a constant source of inspiration. I can’t quite comment on how it relates to game—truth be told, I’m here because of Arcane—but I loved reading every detail of the League of Legends world. Maybe that made it better for me because I had no idea going into it (and had no basis for comparison), but I for one had a wonderful time.
